Founded in 1993 and since then they've aggravated Breda and its vicinity with their whirling but deranged performances. The foundation always was a ongoing drummachine and lyrics about futile romances and lust.

Unfortunately ABATTOIR ROUGE never had their major breakthrough and has always dwelled in the sewers of fame. Perhaps the songs were just too recognizable for many? Perhaps the shows were just too dangerous for the spectators? Fact of the matter remains that an ABATTOIR ROUGE show truly is an amazing experience.

Nowadays the guitars have been replaced by electronics, there's a back-up singer and the songs swing even more. But... The Panzercommandant remains, Jesus keeps offering you his lollipop, boots are still being licked, one remains being depressed and foetusses remain dead.
