What really frightens you?
Director: Richard W. Haines
Country: USA Year: 2009 Length: 74 minutes Language: English Subtitles: no Cast: Jennifer Sorika, Postell Pringle, Ian Tomaschik Since making a name directing trashfilms for the well-known New Yorks Troma studio of Lloyd Kaufman in the Eighties, we heard little from Richard W. Haines. To freshen up your memory, we're talking about hits like 'The toxic avenger' and 'Class of nuke'm high'! In his latest film he takes on a classic horror cliche: when you are trying to frighten people, ask them what they are afraid of fan use it against them. A column writer from 'Ghastly horror' magazine interviews random people in the streets of New York. For a hundred dollar they have to reveal their worst fears. Their fears return, when the dreams they have leave traces in their real life. A number of victims join hands in the search of this 'ghost-writer. Screening:
Thursday Sept. 10th 18.00 h. Electron Ground floor theatre Also check out www.imdb.com
