Nails is a catching film about a man spiralling down in the insanity of a lost and troubled soul. It is Andrej Iskanovs debut film. The story is set in the grey concrete expansions of Siberia. A mentally tormented murderer looses interest in his life working as an assassin for the Russian government. He locks himself up in his apartment. When he starts hearing voices he does some home trepanation. By drilling holes in his head he hopes he can get past the day to day reality, a reality too hard to bare.
