The director will be present during the festival.
The debut of Frisch is a controversial statement on voyeurism of the modern viewer. The director tries to upset his audience on purpose by making a film on sad characters, from which he exploits their grief. At first the reactions are mild. But then he makes a deal with the devil which is devastating for the actors. As the director plays the main part himself, surrounded by amateurs, fact and fiction are hard to distinguish.
