Sharrie Heiman is in trouble. Since she has her period the blood runs out of her vulva, as a river. Sometimes she even spouts like a fountain. Hard to conceal this when the walls of the bathroom are covered all over with the red stuff. At first Sharrie’s lesbian friend Clitoria is concerned, but soon enough she is sexually frustrated and throws Sharrie out. According the doctor Sharrie’s body produces hundreds of little eggs at the same time. A strange masked man wants to know more about this phenomenon. Meanwhile Sharrie tries to deal with her problem and she leaves a track of blood in the city. This tasteless debut of Jason Smith is a hilaric trash comedy with a bit of avant gard, obviously inspired by John Waters. Smith comments on the exploitation of the woman and her body. Not just by men and commerce, but also by religion, art and the woman herself. Expect to see fountains of blood, close-ups of contractors and a dining table full of euphemisms for vagina. Bon appetite.
