Otto is young, confused and looking for love. Phases where every adolescent has to deal with, but Otto is different. He is a zombie, and what’s more: a homosexual zombie. Not surprisingly, because it is a movie of Bruce LaBruce. Ever since his first film No Skin Off My Ass (1991) this Canadian filmmaker and photographer has achieved a cultstatus. He is not only famous in the gayscene, his movies can be seen all over the world, although only in the alternative circuit. The images he shows are very explicit, still the film can also be very moving. With Otto the Canadian provocateur has made a fantastic movie, better known as ‘homozombieporn’.
